Increased Favor
Luke 2:52

The book of Luke is a remarkable account that focuses on the life and ministry of Jesus Christ.  In Luke 2:52 the gospel writers indicated that Jesus kept increasing in wisdom, and stature, and in favor with God and the surrounding populace.  God cares about his people and for this reason he gives us favor.  However it is vital that we continue to increase and grow in the favor of God.  Jesus increased in wisdom and stature he matured and became complete; so many people never attempt to grow they live unfulfilled lives and rarely accomplish the things that they have always desired to do.  The one aspect of God's great favor that we overlook is that if we actively engage in a relationship with Him then we will also find favor among people.  Jesus was hated by many evil people, however the overwhelming amount of individuals that loved him could not be counted.  We have a tendency to look at the negative, this person doesn't like me, that person doesn't believe in me.  Nonetheless God believes in you and if you walk in his favor and spend time acquiring wisdom others will begin to believe in you as well.  Society today craves the favor of people and ignores the favor of God but the favor of people will never really help you to mature and become empowered.  However the favor of God is eternal it never diminishes it only grows and the more you accept and mature in his favor the more the Lord will open doors for you that seem closed, and positive opportunities will arise suddenly out of nowhere.  God loves you and wants everyone to mature in grace and to receive the same favor that he showed to his Son Jesus Christ.
